What's For Thanksgiving Dinner?

I called my family last week and volunteered to host Thanksgiving Dinner.  This week I feel like a person who has buyer's remorse... just kidding. I really do enjoy having my family around for the holidays.  My nieces and nephews are all grown up and I love sitting back watching them, reminiscing of when they were much younger.

Well, this blog is partly about entertaining and Thanksgiving is the start of the entertainment season.
I am not going to prepare all of the dishes for dinner and that is a promise.  Potluck is the only way to go when you have a house full of guest, especially family. I will prepare a few desserts (I like to bake for the holidays).  Four things must be present when you entertain for the holidays: good food for the soul, ambience, eye catching serving wear, and great company. My family will take care of the great company; here are a few must haves for My Thanksgiving Dinner.

Ambience is a must for a family gathering.  I love this candle in the
new Ox Blood color for fall.

Cornbread stuffing is my favorite Thanksgiving Dish.

Oh, don't forget the cranberries.
I will not eat the dressing without the cranberry sauce!

Eye Catching Serving Dishes Are a Must.
I love this cake stand found at Pink Door Decor.com

I would love to hear from you and find out your favorite dish for Thanksgiving. Send me your recipes and I will try to share with my readers during the month of November. Oh, I have a great recipe for cornbread dressing. I must worn you, it is not low in fat!

Until Next Time,

XO
